Mostly I use the Amiga 4000 as well as the C64C. The Amiga 4000 includes all major expansions, the new graphics chipset AGA and an IDE interface (needed to use CF cards for data exchange) in a compact case and is therefore my personal favorite of all Amiga computers.
On the My story page, you'll learn exactly how I got to my hobby. Of course the games are easy to understand, but still a lot of fun. I was also impressed by what you could do with the Amiga back then. For example, The pre-calculations of the dinosaurs in the film Jurassic Park as well as the real-time data calculation at NASA during space shuttle missions were done on Amiga. I think that these computers and especially the company Commodore had contributed significantly to the spread of computers. Therefore, I would like to preserve these computers and provide information on this homepage.
What I collect
I mainly collect computers of the companies Commodore, Amiga and Atari from the period 1977 to 1995 as well as consoles of various manufacturers (for example Atari, Sega, Sony, Nintendo, etc.) up to the current generation. Computers from other companies are only partially collected because storage requires a lot of space. Since I also like to use and show things, my priority is on home computers from the 1980s and 1990s, which interests me the most and which are still useable today.
Goal of my collection
The aim of my collection is to keep the computers important for me in working order. The computers are cleaned and maintained, repaired if necessary but of course also used and occasionally exhibited at events and thus made accessible to all visitors. The latter two points are important to me, as the computers should not simply be stored somewhere, but should also be used and displayed. In addition, this homepage is always expanded to pass on information.
I am interested in all computers, consoles, accessories and drives of that time. Things that are still missing in the collection or are still being searched can be found on the Computer Search page. If you would like to contribute to this collection and sell or offer a device of my search list to me, please contact me!
Biggest computer dream
Of course the C65 and C64 Golden Edition. I would also like to have a museum with the most important exhibits. This should also make the computers accessible to everyone. However, that would require a lot of space and a lot of money. It would be important that you could also use the computers - true to out motto experience the computer history.
What I wanted to say
