Commodore and Amiga in general, but mostly in use is a C128-D CR and an Amiga 4000. The C128-D CR requires no fan and is space efficient than a C64. The Amiga 4000 includes all the major enhancements in one case and therefore is my favorite. The computers are repaired, cleaned and maintained, but of course also be used and played with it. The games are easy to play and to understand and they make a lot of fun! I was impressed by what peple had done with these computers back then (e.g. pre-calculation of the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park) and also been made until recently with the Amiga (e.g. real-time data computation at NASA). I think these computers and specifically the Commodore in the 80ies have contributed significantly to the spread of computers. Therefore I would like to preserve this computer and provide information on this website. What equipment I currently have in use is explained on the page "My Story".
Computer I collect:
I collect mainly computers and consoles of the Company Commodore, Amiga and Atari. Most computers an consoles have European standards (230 volts, PAL video standard) and were sold in Europe. Computers and consoles of other companies are only partially collected, since this would need much more space. Since I want to use and also show the computers that are in the collection. A bit newer is the console collection. Besides video games from Atari and Commodore there are also products from other manufacturers (such as Sega, Sony, Nintendo, etc.).
Goal of my collection:
The goal of my collection is to have all important computer in very good and working condition. They are upgraded or expanded, and of course also be used. The latter is very important to me, because they should not be stored only but also used. I also try to preserve the computers and share tips with others. Also, I am interested in data transmission.
You can find my own collection and what I'm searching for on the page "Collection and Search". If someone wants to sell a computer that is missing in my collection, please contact me with an offer!
Of course, the C65 and C64 Gold Edition. Also, I would like some kind of Commodore/Amiga museum. But I know that lots of space and also a lot of money is necessary. The important thing would be that everyone can use the computers and play on them - like our motto experience the computer history.
What I wanted to say:
